Editor deleted my prior edits citing WP:SYNTH and WP:OR. I have revised the edits. Moreover, the content reinstated by the editor are themselves WP:SYNTH since they do not attribute the 'consensus' of economists to Alan Binder's small and non-scientific poll.

→Reception: it is misleading and propagandistic to refer to Alan Binder's current occupation on this topic. He worked in the Federal Reserve and was appointed to that position by Bill Clinton.Tag: Reverted

Edited 'reception' section to discuss the actual reception of the book itself, and not a discussion about a reception of its ideas, or general opinions people have of the ideas without regard to the book. The latter is commentary and belongs in the article about criticisms of the federal reserve.Tag: Reverted

Added context about the book's reception. The existing context mainly focused on the opinions of former Federal Reserve appointees and a small subset of professional academic economists on topics the book covers.Tag: Reverted

Added context and citations to show that critics of The Federal Reserve advocate for numerous different monetary systems, and not just the gold standard. Effort to avoid impression of false dichotomy, or straw man.Tag: Reverted

Changed the inaccurate word "overwhelming" to "many" and "consensus" to "some" in order to reflect the small sample size and non-scientific nature of the supporting citation. There is no evidence that this survey can be reasonably extrapolated in a way that justifies the language used.Tag: Reverted

Edited description of Alan Binder from "Princeton economist" to "former Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve". Using Binder as an example is a poor choice due to his close ties with The Fed. If he remains quoted here it should be as Former Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve, and not as a professor. He gave up the right appear impartial and academic on this topic when he took that appointment.Tag: Reverted
