Lutheran Mariology
I deleted "Elsewhere, 'All seed except Mary was vitiated [by original sin].'<ref>''WA'', 39, II:107.</ref> " because this is an inaccurate understanding of Luther's argument in the Disputation On the Divinity and Humanity of Christ. Luther was not speaking of Mary's conception or the purification of her personal flesh and blood. Luther was saying that the flesh and blood which Mary gave to Christ were purified of sin at his conception, not hers.Tag: references removed
