Senec is a municipality and village in Rakovník District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants.
Hvozd is located about 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Rakovník and 45 km (28 mi) west of Prague. It lies on the border between the Rakovník Uplands and Plasy Uplands. The highest point is at 535 m (1,755 ft) above sea level.
