Remi Savage (born 26 October 2001) is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish League 1. [1]
Born in Liverpool, Savage played youth ball at Liverpool, [2] and made his debut for the U21s side in a 5–2 away loss to Accrington Stanley in the EFL Trophy, [3] and winning the FA Youth Cup, but failing to break into the first team before signing for Newcastle United in July 2021. [4] Savage made his debut for The Toon in a 3–0 away loss to Sheffield Wednesday in the EFL Cup, [5] again failing to break into the first team.[ citation needed]
On 25 January 2024, Savage moved to Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a permanent deal, [6] [7] making his debut two days later in a 3–2 away win over league leaders, Raith Rovers [8] before netting his first senior goal in a 3–3 home draw with Partick Thistle. [9]
