Radek Rak (born 1987) is a Polish veterinarian best known as a writer of fantasy literature. [1]
His debut novel was Kocham cię, Lilith (2014). His second novel, Puste niebo (2016) was nominated for the Janusz A. Zajdel Award and won the Gold Distinction of the Jerzy Żuławski Literary Awards . [1]
His 2019 Baśń o wężowym sercu albo wtóre słowo o Jakóbie Szeli won several Polish literary prizes, including the Janusz A. Zajdel Award, [2] the Nike Award, [3] the „Nowa Fantastyka” Award [4] and the Jerzy Żuławski Literary Awards . [5]
He also published a number of short stories.
Baśń o wężowym sercu was adapted to an opera by Aleksander Nowak and for stage by Beniamin Maria Bukowski .
