Qomesh (
Persian : قمش )
[a] is a village in, and the capital of,
Itivand-e Jonubi Rural District of
Itivand District ,
Delfan County ,
Lorestan province,
Iran .
[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of
Kahriz-e Varvasht .

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 596 in 100 households, when it was in
Kakavand District .
[6] The following census in 2011 counted 641 people in 140 households.
[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 546 people in 135 households.

In March 2022, Itivand-e Jonubi and
Itivand-e Shomali Rural Districts were separated from the district in the establishment of Itivand District.
