gotra (clan) of the farming
Jat community of
India . They have a large population in many
villages based in the north Indian states of
Punjab , Rajasthan,
Western-Uttar Pradesh and
Haryana , India.
But mostly, their population is found in Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab.
Munirka village is located near to
Jawaharlal Nehru University and Indian
Institute of Technology Delhi is a dominant village of Parmar/Panwar
Jats.

Talwinder Singh Parmar , a Jat Sikh separatist for the Khalistan state and founder of
Babbar Khalsa International , also belonged to the Parmar clan of the
Jat Sikh community.
