Parapercis macrophthalma, the narrow barred grubfish, is a species of fish in the sandperch family, Pinguipedidae. It is found in Japan and Taiwan.
Parapercis macrophthalma can reach a total length of 14.0 centimetres (5.5 in). [1]
Parapercis macrophthalma was first described by Viktor Pietschmann in 1911 as Neopercis macrophthalma, [2] [3] but in 2013 was assigned to the genus, Parapercis. [2] [4]
