This is the
order of battle for the
January 28 incident, also known as the
first Shanghai incident, in 1932. This was a brief war between the armies of the
Republic of China and the
Empire of Japan that occurred prior to the
Second Sino-Japanese War.
Because the Japanese assumed the tactical initiative, their forces are listed first.
