Nehbandan County ( Persian: شهرستان نهبندان) [a] is in South Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Nehbandan. [3]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the county's population was 56,089, in 13,541 households. [4] The following census in 2011 counted 57,258 people in 15,025 households. [5] At the 2016 census, the county's population was 51,449 in 14,185 households. [2]
After the census, Arabkhaneh Rural District was separated from Shusef District in the establishment of Sardaran District, which was divided into three rural districts, and Garm-e Tamam Deh Rural District was established in Shusef District. [6]
