Mubarak Qazi ( Balochi: مبارک کازی; 24 December 1955 – 16 September 2023) was a Pakistani contemporary Balochi poet who wrote in modern and revolutionary styles. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]
Qazi produced more than 10 collections of poetry books. His first and last published works are below.
He is regarded as the most celebrated poet ever embraced the Balochi poetry. He himself once said, “ I am the poet of every class”. Diction of his poetry is often very simple but still carries all the beauty of modern literary components. Qazi spent eight months in Turbat jail In 2007, for his radical and revolutionary poetry. In 2014 his son Kambar Mubarak, who was affiliated with a radical separatist outfit, was Martyred.
