Leylan District ( Persian: بخش لیلان) is in Malekan County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Leylan. [3]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 23,234 in 5,341 households. [4] The following census in 2011 counted 24,169 people in 6,688 households. [5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 25,381 inhabitants in 7,526 households. [2]
