Krishna Shroff was born on 21 January 1993 in
Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She completed her education at the American School of Mumbai. She then went on to complete her bachelor's degree in
film production at
SAE Institute in
Dubai. She is the younger sister of
Bollywood actor
Tiger Shroff. Despite their different career trajectories, the siblings share a close bond. Krishna is the daughter of
Jackie Shroff, a renowned actor, and
Ayesha Shroff, a film producer.[11][12]
In her personal life, Krishna has been in long-term relationship with
Abdul Azim Badakhshi, a professional MMA fighter from
Afghanistan.[13][14]
Career
Shroff chose a career path distinct from her family's
Bollywood background. Despite offers from the film industry, she opted to pursue her interests in health and fitness. She most recently starred in the reality show “
Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 14” on
Colors TV.[15][16]
In addition to this, Shroff is involved in documentary filmmaking, having produced an award-winning documentary about the lives of transgender individuals, presenting them in a positive light. As an entrepreneur and businesswoman, she owns the MMA Matrix fitness center[17] in
Mumbai, which focuses on mixed martial arts training and overall fitness, Her career also includes coaching
basketball, where she worked with young athletes to develop their skills from the grass-root level.[18][19]
Shroff maintains an active presence on
social media, sharing her fitness routines, professional endeavors, and personal insights with her followers. She has been featured on the covers of several fashion and fitness magazines alike.[20][21]
Awards
In March 2024, Shroff received the 'Woman Fitness Leader of the Year' award from Asian Talks. As the founder of
Matrix Fight Night (MFN) and MMA Matrix, she has contributed to promoting
fitness and
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in India. During her acceptance speech, she acknowledged the significance of the award and her journey in a male-dominated industry.[22][23]
