He played college golf at the University of Tennessee in the 2014–15 season, and transferred to the University of Arizona where he played for the 2015–16 and 2016–17 seasons. He was solo runner-up at the 2016 individual Pac-12 Conference Championship, behind Jon Rahm. [2]
