[3] [4] The company also offered software designed to increase online advertising by accelerating the rate at which ads loaded and preventing blockers or filters from blocking ads. [5] [6] [7]

On February 27, 2020, Akamai announced that it had acquired Instart's customers and select intellectual property. [10] [11] [12]
