The Ika people are recognized as a tribe that is found primarily in Delta State, Nigeria. They traditionally practise Odinala religion as seen among the Igbo. The Ika people can be found in Ika South and Ika North East Local Government Areas of Delta State, and in Igbanke and Ekpon areas of Orhionmwon, Uhunmwonde and Igueben Local Government Areas in Edo State.
They speak the Ika language, often considered by several academic scholars as a dialect of the Igbo language.
