It is locally known as 'Rupohi Thekera' (ৰূপহী থেকেৰা) or 'Kon Thekera' (কণ- থেকেৰা) in Assamese, Pelh in Mizo, Thisuru in Garo, Dieng-soh-jadu in Khasi and Khanada. [1]
