Galium sterneri or limestone bedstraw [1] is a plant species of the Rubiaceae. [2] It is native to northern Europe ( Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Great Britain, Ireland, Norway and Germany). [3]

Discovered in 1960, Galium sterneri is a fairly low growing bedstraw with small pale yellow flowers which tends to form mats rather than clumps or tufts. [4] [5] Galium sterneri is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and is also used as a medicinal herb to treat a variety of ailments, including skin and digestive problems. [6]
