DescriptionYttre Ursholmen Kontakt Kosterdiabas i Nebulitisk-migmatitisk sedimentgnejs.jpg
English: Contact between a dark-coloured tholeiitic dolerite dyke (about 1100 million years old) and light-coloured nebulitic migmatitic paragneiss (1800 million years old, Stora Le Marstrand Formation) in Kosterhavet National Park on Yttre Ursholmen island in the Koster Islands off the southwestern coast of Sweden. The rock association seen in the photograph belongs to the undeformed southernmost part of the Kattsund-Koster dyke swarm of the Kongsberg-Bamble-Østfold segment of the Sveconorvegian Province of the Baltic Shield.[1]
