Deutsch: Das Wappen geht auf die ritterliche Ministerialfamilie von Silenen zurück, welche vom 13. bis 16. Jahrhundert blühte. Sie führte anfänglich einen Stierkopf, seit 1331 jedoch einen aufrechten Löwen mit einem schmalen Schrägrechtsbalken im Siegel.
