This was of course on a tripod, I had my camera hooked up to my laptop. This allowed me not only to trigger and adjust the camera without touching it, but also allowed me to instantly examine if I captured the detail I wanted.

It took 6 steps to get the detail from most of the light range, the overexposed sun and spot on the water was both intentional and unavoidable with my camera.
