DescriptionThe Queen in a somewhat dilapidated condition. Nevertheless, my tenth visit was of worth^^ - Flickr - Dr. Santulan Mahanta (cropped).jpg
Fairy Queen (built in 1855 by M/S Kitson Thomson & Hewitson in Leeds) was earlier the chief attraction in the National Rail Museum, but ever since it started operating regularly as the world's oldest working steam loco, it was rare to find her in NRM. Theft of the decorative parts brought it once again to NRM before its departure to the workshop and I was lucky enough to grab that opportunity for three consecutive days!
