English: St. Malachi Church on the NRHP since September 16, 1985. On St. Malachi Road, Londonderry Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. This is a Roman Catholic Church (reportedly a subdivision of the RC Church in Parkesville, PA) and is notable for it's lack of ornamentation (there is a cross on the roof but its not visible) It is located in the heart of old Quaker Country, but its simplicity seems to out-do even the simplest Quaker meetinghouse. Current church dates from 1838, the earliest tombstone in the cemetery bears the date 1771. Irish settled here about that time.
