English: Old St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church on the NRHP since March 8, 1978. On U.S. Route 422 (going south on the split highway, turn at the Wawa if you're headed north) in Douglassville, Amity Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. This building built 1801, but the congregation goes back to 1720 as a Swedish Lutheran Church, in 1760 changed to Anglican (Protestant Episcopal). The "new" church (1860's?) is behind the old one in the photo (Steeple, chimney). Historical marker (PHMC) in front says Anthony Sadowski is buried in the churchyard.
