On this day, June 29, 2019, the Pride march is acknowledging that Pride is a protest. It is solidarity in action. It is more than the celebration of the LGBTQIA-community. It is upholding human rights. This year's march is looking for intersections within the community and fighting for all those who are oppressed from across the Philippines and the world. Resisting injustices and discrimination against minorities.
Despite the rain, it was reported that 70,000 join the Metro Manila Pride 2019.
