English: Plawsworth railway station (site), County Durham Opened in 1868 by the North Eastern Railway on the line from Newcastle to Durham, this station closed to passengers in 1952 and completely in 1963.
View south towards Durham. The station had two parallel platforms with a small goods shed to the left of where the mast now is. No trace apparently remains.
