María de Portugal. Fue conocido como "Pedro I el Cruel" debido a las numerosas personas que mandó matar, entre las que se contaban varios de sus propios hermanastros. Fue asesinado en 1369, cuando contaba 34 años de edad, por su hermanastro
Enrique II de Castilla, que le sucedió en el trono. Y los restos de Pedro I descansan en la capilla real de la catedral de Sevilla.
