Summary

Description
English: Mosaic of two MESSENGER Wide Angle Camera images (EW0227961993G, EW0227962088G) showing a hemisphere of Mercury including the south pole. The crater Chao Meng-Fu, near the pole, is about 1/3 of the way from the bottom along the terminator. The Tolstoj basin is near the top horizon. The two images were taken approximately 95 seconds apart. Statistics for the top half of the image are:
