Black: additional sclerite, characteristic of the “gastrocotylid” clamp. Bilaterocotyloides and Protomicrocotyle have clamps of the “gastrocotylid” type, Neomicrocotyle has clamps of the “microcotylid” type, and Lethacotyle has no clamp.
