English: U.S. Navy Commander James L. Holloway III, seated in the cockpit of a Douglas A4D-2 Skyhawk (BuNo 142128), while serving as commanding officer of Attack Squadron 83 (VA-83) "Rampagers" aboard aircraft carrier USS Essex (CVA-9), 25 June 1958. VA-83 was assigned to Air Task Group 201 (ATG-201) aboard the Essex for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Western Pacific from 2 February to 17 November 1958.
