English: This shows the north wall (left) and part of the west wall of the 9th century wooden church at Greensted-juxta-Ongar, Essex. The walls are made of upright sections of tree trunk set side by side. There is a tiny window cut as a notch into one of the tree trunks of the north wall. This is a slightly edited version of my own digital photograph.
