English: The "Great Wall of Kuakini" (Ka pā nui o Kuakini ) was built c. 1830—1840 by "John Adams" Kiiapalaoku Kuakini (1789–1844), Governor of Hawai'i Island and Oʻahu for King Kamehameha I, in the Kingdom of Hawaii.
They were built/extended to stop the cattle left behind by George Vancouver from wandering through the village of Kailua.
