I made a photo reportage of the next anniversary of the murder of Boris Nemtsov. And in addition to politicians, public figures, media persons, I filmed outwardly interesting people who came to the Nemtsov Bridge.
In the crowd, the intelligent face of a large man with a beard immediately struck me as remarkable. I pointed the lens, focused, and the man looked in my direction. The shot has been taken!
Later, it turned out that the man was Novaya Gazeta's editor-in-chief Dmitry Muratov, who received the Nobel Peace Prize this year for "efforts to defend freedom of speech and expression, which is fundamental to democracy and lasting peace," according to the committee's wording.
