Object history
Deutsch: Die Vierung von Silber und Schwarz ist das Wappen der zollerischen Burggrafen von Nürnberg und späteren Markgrafen von Brandenburg, die mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit bereits seit dem 13. Jahrhundert die Herrschaft im Gemeindegebiet innehatten. Unter den häufig wechselnden Lehensherren waren die Truchsessen von Wetzhausen von besonderer Bedeutung für den Ort. Sie waren von 1433 bis 1592 Lehensinhaber. Daran erinnert ihr Wappen, die von Gold und Rot geschachten Balken im Gemeindewappen von Uehlfeld.
