Deutsch: Der Gemeinde Titz ist mit Urkunde des Regierungspräsidenten in Köln, Az. - 31.21.04 - vom 11.12.1972 das Recht zur Führung eines Wappens verliehen worden. „In gold (gelb) ein rotbewehrter und -bezungter schwarzer Löwe, begleitet (heraldisch) rechts von drei, links von zwei sechsstrahligen blauen Sternen; links oben befindet sich ein abnehmender blauer Mond.“ Das Wappen wurde 1972 vom Amt Titz übernommen und entstammt einem Schöffensiegel von 1343. Es zeigt den schwarzen Löwen des Herzogtums Jülich, zu dem Titz früher gehörte. Die Sterne stehen für die Anzahl der ehemaligen Gemeinden, die Bedeutung des Mondes ist ungeklärt.
English: „The arms were granted on December 11, 1972. The arms are those of the former Amt Titz. The arms show the lion of the Dukes of Jülich, who ruled the area for many centuries. The stars represent the former municipalities, whereas the moon is taken from the old arms of Titz.“
