It was issued as a promotional item--the intention being promotion of NBC Radio and Chesterfield Supper Club by way of allowing a listener/ticket holder to be part of the radio show's studio audience on a given day. Tickets for radio and television shows are given for the asking by networks and broadcasting stations; the front of the ticket says "Void if sold."
