Čeština: Valašská Bystřice má schválený obecní znak a prapor.
English: The coat of arms depicts crossed axes in a blue field - a pantok and a width - above a silver trident. The motif of crossed carpenter's tools is based on the historical municipal seal, the blue color symbolizes the river Bystřice, according to which the village has a name and the silver three-aisled hill is taken from the emblem of the Žerotín family, the village's founders.
