English: Pieces of a Moroccan bomber aircraft shot down by the Sahrawis of Front Polisario during the war time (Tifariti, Western Sahara). During the Spanish domination, the village was used as military outpost. Tifariti then passed under Moroccan control, then under that of Front Polisario. In 1991, the Moroccan bombers completely destroyed the village just before the UN controlled ceasefire.
