Description311 London Road and Entrance to former Hall at 313 London Road, North End, Portsmouth (March 2019).JPG
311 London Road, North End, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England, incorporating the arched entrance to the former Hall at 313 London Road. The latter was built in 1931 and by 1934 was in use as the No. 1 British Israel Hall, a place of worship. In 1964 it transferred to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who used it as their local meetinghouse until the 1980s. They opened their present meetinghouse in 1989 at Kingston Crescent, and the hall was demolished. The archway with lettering above it ("ENTRANCE TO HALL") survives though.
