El Nacional (Catalan pronunciation: [əɫ nə.si.uˈnaɫ], meaning The National in Catalan language) is a online newspaper from Barcelona ( Catalonia). The paper publishes separate editions in Catalan, English and Spanish language. It was founded in 2016 and it is published by Grup Les Notícies de Catalunya SL. [1] [2] [3]
El Nacional was first published on 2016 by José Antich, former director of La Vanguardia, to offer a Catalan online newspaper with an orientation framed in catalanism.
