The Nintendo Wii version of the game, developed by Planet Moon Studios, was released in October 2009, concurrently with the DS version developed by 5th Cell. [5] Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, both for the Wii and Nintendo DS, introduces new gameplay mechanics such as the hero's ability to transform into different objects. [6]
Following THQ's bankruptcy in 2013, the rights to the Drawn to Life franchise as a whole were acquired by 505 Games. A new instalment within the series, entitled Drawn to Life: Two Realms, [7] was developed by Digital Continue, published by 505 Games, and released on December 7, 2020, for the Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Microsoft Windows.
