Sioux Falls City FC is a women's soccer club based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The club currently competes in the Women's Premier Soccer League in the Northern Conference, having joined the league as an expansion team in 2022 [2] [3]. The club has announced a Letter of Intent to launch a pro side in 2025 [4] [5] [6]

History

2022 Season

Under head coach Dale Weiler, Sioux Falls City F.C. played their inaugural game on May 21, 2022 against host team Joy Athletic Club, which ended in a 2–0 victory for Sioux Falls City F.C. in which Kirsten Wetterstrom scored the club's first goal on a penalty kick.
