Shringinari is a temple located in Harraiya tehsil of Basti district in U.P. It is situated 14 km north of Harriaiya.
It is believed that this place was established by Shringi Rishi and his wife Shanta Devi. According to various stories and folklores When emperor Dasharatha of Ayodhya, desired to have a son, he performed Putreshti Yajna at Makhauda Dham with Shringi Rishi to get a son.
Shringi Rishi along with his wife Shanta Devi stayed at this place after the Yajna was over.
