Ruby Rose Turner (born October 16, 2005 [1]) is an American actress. She is known for starring as Cami Wrather on the Disney Channel sitcom Coop & Cami Ask the World, and for playing the role of Bridget in the film Descendants: The Rise of Red of the Descendants film series.

Life and career

Turner was born and raised in the Saugus neighborhood of Santa Clarita, California. [2] Turner danced competitively for four years and won several small group National Champion Award titles. She began her professional career at age seven as a child actress on the Univision television show Sabado Gigante. [2] She has also appeared on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Turner performed as a dancer in the "It’s a Hard Knock Life" number in the 2014 film Annie. She has appeared in a number national and internation television commercials. [1] [3]

Turner has had guest starring roles on ABC's Black-ish, and on Netflix's Fuller House playing Joey Gladstone's oldest daughter, Phyllis. [2] [1] Since 2018 she has starred as Cameron "Cami" Wrather in the Disney Channel television comedy series Coop & Cami Ask the World. [4] Later the same year, she released a video called "Ruby Rock" which received airplay on Disney Channel. [5] [6] In May 2021, it was announced that Turner had been cast to voice the titular lead character in the English dub of the Netflix anime series Eden. [7]

In November 2022 it was announced she would be apart of the cast of the film Descendants: The Rise of Red as Bridget, the young Queen of Hearts. [8]
