Dr. Orji Ogbonnaya Orji is the Executive Secretary & National Coordinator of Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), a Nigerian Journalist, broadcaster, and a former director with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), natural resource governance expert, political economist and development communications specialist. He joined the Nigeria EITI in 2010 and was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as NEITI head in February 2021. Orji succeeded Waziri Adio who was appointed in February 2016. Orji was born in Arochukwu, Abia State holds a master’s degree and PhD in Political Economy and International Development from University of Abuja, Nigeria. He is an alumnus of the John F.
