Maggie Kimberl [1] [1] [2] [2] is a Louisville, Kentucky-based journalist [3] [3] who focuses on the distilled spirits industry [4] [4], specifically American whiskey [5] [5] and whiskey cocktails [6] [6]. She is the Content Editor of American Whiskey Magazine [7] [7], a contributor to Whisky Magazine [8] [8], and has contributed to many other publications since 2013. She is the co-Chair of the World Whiskies Awards USA [9] [9], a professional whiskey taster [10] [10], and is a Kentucky Colonel and ninth-generation Louisvillian [11] [11]. She previously served as the President of the Bourbon Women Association [12] [12] [13] [13] [14] [14] [15] [15] [16] [16], a nationwide organization founded to boost womens' visibility both as whiskey consumers and producers.
