Louie La Vella is a Canadian film and television producer and director, known for his work in the horror film genre involving the productions The Woodmen, Invited, Science of a Seance, and Mindful Meditation.
Louie is an author who wrote two books about nightlife marketing: Nightclub and Bar Marketing [1] and My Unfair Advantage. [2]
In film, La Vella became known for his short film "Mindful Meditation", which won Best Horror at the New Creators Awards in Paris. His directorial work in "Science of a Séance" earned him a Best Director accolade. [3]
"Mindful Meditation" was screened at the Blood in the Snow Film Festival in Ontario, Canada, in 2022. [4] In The Woodmen, La Vella streamlined the production to focus on the cast. [5] He produced the horror thriller Invited. [6] La Vella is producing the upcoming exorcism horror Practice House. [7] He discussed the making of this movie Practice House. [8] He also discussed the making of the horror film Invited. [9]
La Vella is a marketing and branding consultant who helped with brands like Skyy Vodka, Redbull, and Bacardi and interviewed celebrities. [10] He also gave Lady Gaga her first interview. [11] Recently Louie La Vella and Monica La Vella of 105ive Films received the rights to the Haunted Canada book series and they are both producing this horror series. [12] Louie La Vella got the television rights to the Haunted Canada books from the Scholastic Canada Inc. [13]
