Lion Gani Miah Babul was born 6 may, 1971 in Sreepur Upazilla of Gazipur District to Late Md. Ismail Hossain & Ayesha Khatun in a Muslim Family. He obtained his secondary education from local Mawna ML High School & higher secondary from Bhawal Badre Alam Govt. College. For his higher education he completed Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dhaka from Department of arts, he also obtained BAGED from Bangladesh Open University and diploma in agriculture from Bangladesh technical educational board.
He is married with Murshida Gani. He has one daughter & two sons.
In the beginning of 1988 Gani Miah Started his career as journalist in weekly Ganamukh (now Dainik Ganamukh) [11]) published from Gazipur. Later he has performed well in various Media like Dainik Khabar, Daily Bhorer Somoy [12], executive director of Fair news service(FNS) [13], Joint Editor of Nirapad News, he served as an assistant teacher of Nawabpur govt. High School in 1995 [14]. Joint Secretary General of Nirapad Sarak Chai(NISCHA) [15]
