Liam was born in Rome in 2007. His father, Nick Nicolosi is from Sicily, [1] and his mother, Alexia Murray, is Italian and American. [1] Growing up bilingual and immersed in the world of entertainment, [2] Liam began his acting career at a young age. [3] His early endeavors at the age of 3 included a web series [4] before transitioning to the big screen with his appearance in Cuori Puri, directed by Roberto De Paolis, which premiered at the Director's Fortnight at Cannes Film Festival.
The following year, Liam landed his first larger role portraying the young vampire Luciano Di Nosferas in two seasons of the acclaimed series Heirs of the Night. The series was nominated for an International Emmy Kids Award [5] in the live-action category. [6] The international production (Dutch/Norwegian/German) [7] was one of Liam's first longer commitments and made him fall in love with storytelling through acting and filmmaking. [2]
In 2021, Liam starred as Giulio in the popular Netflix series Di4ries. His comedic and heartfelt portrayal of Giulio, the dyslexic class clown, resonated with young viewers. [3] He reprised his role for the second season, shot in 2023. Released worldwide, the Italian tween series has garnered fans all over the world, [8] landing on Netflix's global top 10 list of non-English language shows. [9] In 2024, Liam starred in L'Anello Ritrovato a modern-day mystery based on the raid of Rome's Jewish Ghetto during the Nazi occupation, airing on Italy's RAI TV. [10] Between his television commitments, Liam also showcased his talent on the big screen. He participated in the drama Eddie & Sunny, directed by Desmond Devenish.
Liam continues to pursue his passion for acting while balancing his education and personal interests. [11] He is a licensed drone pilot and enjoys playing basketball on his high school team. [11] Like his character Giulio in Di4ries, Liam is also dyslexic. [12] He speaks openly about his dyslexia, in interviews [3] and on podcasts. [13] He hopes to motivate younger dyslexic children who might be struggling with their own self-esteem as a result of this learning difference. [13]
