Laura Cazzaniga ( Cantù, 1981), also know as Laura Pinta Cazzaniga, is an italian visual artist. She is the daughter of the italian designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga.
Cazzaniga graduated in Painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, studing with Luciano Fabro and attended the studio of Vito Acconci. During her studies, she also worked in the Archive of the Italian sculptor Nanni Valentini.
Her research is developed in the field of Site-specific art. She has carried out installations, ephemeral interventions, and actions in contexts of sociopolitical conflict, [1] also in collaboration with local collectives. She has developed projects related to historical memory, [2] [3] monument, [4] [5] female condition, [6] [7] and social struggles.
Cazzaniga has exhibited her work in national and international exhibitions, Biennials, and non-institutional and underground culture spaces.
